Our Next Big Event!
The Saluda Arts Festival is back! And is planned for May 21, 2022 in Saluda’s historic downtown. The festival will be from 10 am to 4 pm and will feature around 85 artists from the Carolinas and Tennessee. We will have children’s activities, and live music. For 16 years the town has enjoyed celebrating art this way and we hope our Saluda vacationers will join us.

Saluda Declares National Village Day
The Saluda Board of Commissioners joined the U.S. House of Representatives in proclaiming Tuesday, February 15, 2022, as National Village Day. Their proclamation honors Saluda Living in Place (SLIP) for the services it provides and the 300 other community-based organizations, commonly known as Villages. These organizations make aging in place a viable alternative for older citizens in communities across the U.S. The day celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Village movement, which began in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston in 2002. Mayor Tangie Morgan presented the proclamation to Lynn Cass, SLIP’s Chairperson.
