61st Annual Coon Dog Day

Saturday, July 6th, 2024!
8:00AM – 10:00PM

A CELEBRATION LIKE NONE OTHER

Join us in celebrating our loyal friend the Coon Dog. Our town has been celebrating this way for over 60 years now. the festivities include a parade, live music, street food, local art, and dog judging.

The day begins at 8 AM on Main Street with the 5K race through town. Find a good viewing spot for the 11 AM parade that features everyone’s favorite small town features like antique cars, fun floats, fire trucks, the festival King and Queen, and more dogs than you can count. The parade lasts about 30 minutes. The entire day long event is free and your family will have a blast.

Parking will be available near the Saluda Cemetery, at the Saluda Elementary School, or on East Main Street. There will be other scattered parking opportunities and shuttles too.

Take a look at the event map and even download it to your phone for simple navigation when you arrive.
